The National Association of Home Builders is a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing more than 140,000 members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located three blocks from the Oceanfront in Virginia\nBeach\u2019s ViBe Creative District, Seaside Harbor provides best-in-class,\nenergy-efficient, EarthCraft certified, workforce housing with a focus on\nresidents with disabilities. Built in partnership with local non-profit\nSamaritan House as co-developer and co-general partner, Seaside Harbor replaced\n39 apartments at the end of their useful life with 76 new modern apartment homes\nof which 15% are reserved for individuals with developmental disabilities capable\nof independent living and 25% meet fully, permanently accessible unit\nrequirements as set forth by the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard (UFAS).&nbsp; Lawson also partnered with Hope House to\nprovide supportive services for the developmentally disabled residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lawson Chairman Steve Lawson said \u201cSeaside Harbor\nembodies Lawson\u2019s focus on positively impacting the communities we serve. We\u2019re\nvery proud of what we\u2019ve been able to accomplish at Seaside, with some\nincredible partners \u2013 Samaritan House and Hope House, and we are humbled to be\nrecognized with this award.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samaritan House Executive Director\nRobin Gauthier said \u201cWe at Samaritan House congratulate the team at Lawson on\nthis amazing recognition.
