The Virginia 500 Power List, published by Virginia Business, highlights Virginia\u2019s most powerful and influential leaders in business, government, politics, and education. The 2023 list marks the fourth consecutive year Hardee has been named on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lawson Chairman, Steve Lawson is a third-generation builder and has worked for the company his father founded since 1993. Lawson is a longtime advocate for supportive and affordable housing and has served on the boards of the non-profit HousingForward Virginia and on the Rental Advisory Council of Virginia Housing, Virginia\u2019s statewide housing finance agency. He has also provided expert testimony to the United States Congress on three occasions and briefed the last three Chairs of the Federal Reserve concerning ongoing challenges the industry faces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
