R.A. Lawson Corp. is a Class A contractor licensed in Virginia, specializing in the construction of multifamily apartment communities. From conceptual budgeting and design coordination to project planning and construction oversight, we ensure our owners, investors and partners benefit from cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Our team boasts decades of experience and is renowned for meticulous execution of complex construction and rehabilitation projects, transparent communication, regional expertise, and strong partnerships.

Please note, due to our current project commitments, we are not taking on new non-Lawson construction projects. However, we welcome inquiries and bids from reliable subcontractors interested in collaborating with us.

Subcontractor Requirements

We are currently seeking Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation Class A and B subcontractors. If you have questions about existing or upcoming Lawson construction projects, please contact us via the web form. To request access to submit bids on our projects, please click “Request to Bid” and submit a prequalification form.

All subcontractors must provide references and meet minimum insurance requirements. Experience in building multifamily developments is preferred, along with previous experience working with VHDA/Virginia Housing, Earthcraft, and Energy Star program guidelines.
